Behold the micro-site for moovy.ca – an online space for emerging and professional filmmakers! Thanks to the talented gal wonders at Catapult Media – Pattie Lacroix, Megan Cole and Svea Dimmick (who have been with us from the very beginning). We will be launching the full moovy.ca site on October 15, 2008 at the 19th annual St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival . But right now, we need YOUR help. By offering up this micro-site, we’re seeking feedback on what you like, don’t like, want to see or need to see. Comment, comment, comment – we’re a community – let’s talk!

Calling all creative heads: we need an official trailer for moovy.ca! And we want you to make it. The winning 20-second trailer will be selected by online voters on moovy.ca and announced at the October 15 launch party for moovy.ca. You the winner will receive a $500 cash prize and will have your trailer played during the Women's Film Festival’s closing night gala screening on October 18, 2008. And, of course, your name will be forever inscribed in the stone tablets of moovy history.

We're just fine-tuning the voting and video schematics and we'll be announcing the way it all works really soon, but now's the time to get your moov on.... Stay tuned!
