The indefatigable Barbara Doran has produced what looks to be another gem, turning her attuned and critical eye to the subject of video gambling. Narrated by Gordon Pinsent and featuring John Dunsworth (Trailer Park Boys), Playing The Machines examines the astonishing business of video lottery terminals and their effect on our society.

Catch Playing The Machines on The Lens at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Tuesday, March 24 on
CBC Newsworld.
