Birthdays are always nice and the National Film Board has decided to give us a great gift to celebrate its 70th: a free online screening room with over 700 NFB productions, films, trailers and clips (!).

Films now online or coming soon include Chris Landreth's 2004 Oscar-winner Ryan, Claude Jutra's Mon Oncle Antoine, beloved animated favourites like Richard Condie's The Big Snit and Cordell Barker's The Cat Came Back, as well classic works by the legendary Norman McLaren.
