Well this is what dropped into my inbox this ante meridian: some festival deadlines fast approaching...

Reel Youth Film Festival is screened in partnership with film festivals, youth media organizations, and non profit groups across Canada and the States. When you submit your film to Reel Youth, it's like submitting your film to festivals across North America!

Next deadline: postmarked by December 15, 2008.

The Human Rights Watch International Film Festival seeks youth-produced media works on human rights issues for its second annual YOUTH PRODUCING CHANGE program to screen in their New York, London, Boston and San Francisco film festivals in 2009-10. The 49th International Film Festival for Children and Youth is now accepting submissions. The festival will be held in Zlin, the Czech Republic between
31 May - 7 June 2009. Applications deadline is March 13, 2009. Click here for an entry form and more information.
