Are you licensed and insured in Canada?

Yes. Moovy is a licensed moving company in Canada and carries $2,000,000 in commercial general liability insurance. If your building or condo board needs a Certificate of Insurance naming them before your move, tell us who to name and we issue it at no charge.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. Fill in the free quote form or call (647) 948-6688 with your two addresses, the date and roughly what you are moving. Most estimates are built from the details you share; an in-person visit is available for larger homes.

Are there hidden fees?

No. You pay the hourly rate for the crew, with a 3-hour minimum and 15-minute increments after it, plus one truck fee based on round-trip distance. Stairs, long hallways, heavy items and furniture disassembly do not cost extra. Prices are before HST.

What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We take no deposit and charge no cancellation or rescheduling fee. If your date changes, call us and we find a new one.

How far in advance should I book my move?

As soon as you know your date. Month-ends, weekends and the summer fill first, and condo elevator slots go even faster, so booking early gives you the widest choice of arrival times.

Most of our work is local: houses, condos and apartments across Toronto and the GTA, plus office moves and longer runs across Southern Ontario when a customer needs one. Packing assistance

Book full or partial packing when you request your quote and the crew arrives with paper, tape and boxes. Packing is billed at the same hourly rate, with no separate packing fee. You rent moving boxes separately — reusable bins with delivery and pickup included, and they cost less when you book them together with the move. Wardrobe and TV boxes are rented too, at $15 each for the day.

Furniture dismantling
and assembly

Bed frames, tables, desks and wall units are taken apart only when they will not fit through the door, and reassembled at the new address with the hardware bagged and labelled. Furniture that fits as it is stays assembled, because you are paying by the hour.

Short-notice and weekend moves

We move seven days a week, holidays included, at the same hourly rate. Need movers in Toronto this week? Call us and we check crew availability for your date; when a crew is free, a same-week move is not a problem.

Moovy’s trucks start from East York, so most of our work is inside Toronto: downtown and midtown condos, and houses in Etobicoke, North York and Scarborough. West of the city we move in Mississauga, Oakville and Brampton, with regular jobs in Milton and Burlington. North of Highway 7 our crews cover Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham and Newmarket, and to the east Oshawa along with Pickering, Ajax and Whitby.
